An Awesome Foodalish Flying Day With My Students

Hey Hey and a Big G'Day Toya,

Had the best day ever today.
We all took imaginary journeys by plane to different provinces in China to taste many of the different food styles.

A parent or both parents made their favourite dish/dishes from their home province and brought it into kinder. Each class room had a theme based the three different provinces the food came from. The teachers were the air hostesses and at the beginning the students received 'boarding passes' for their flights for the day. We then moved from classroom to classroom eating and eating and eating and eating!

Between destinations we sang 'the wings on the plane go up and down'.
Some people actually work.. I retired almost 13 years ago.. An amazing life indeed... Yeah yeah yeah!

Lifes one hell of a journey my friends.

In 2005, after travelling to fourteen non-English speaking countries and fifteen years working for the Commonweath Attorney Generals Dept in various Law Courts and Tribunals I donated my lifes belongings to charity, packed a pack and purchased a flight out of Australia.

Thirteen years ago I allowed my lifes dream to become a reality and chose to say 'Seeya Mate' to my beautiful homeland 'Down Under' to spread the good word of 'G'Day Mate' to as many people as possible here in China.

I invite you to grab a beer and journey with me as I continue to throw my back pack on and venture to as many schools and diverse places as this wonderful country has to offer an Aussieroo from the Land Down Under.

PS: a wiseman once said to me: Rememeber my friend, lifes just one big long noodle!
