WOW it's The Army Of Terracotta Warriors

Hey Hey and a Big G'Day toya I hope you are all healthy and happy back home. I'm having such a great time with Eve's family and Ha Ha. Guess where I went today? You won't believe it? You know that army they found and dug out of the ground? The ones you see on the television. Well Ping took me to see them today. What a fantasic experience! They are known as the Army of Terracotta Warriors. They were buried for over two thousand years and were found by a couple of peasants digging a well in 1974. Wallah, then you have one of the 20th Centurys major archaeological discoveries! We spent a few hours going from shed to shed. Inside it was cold and you weren't allowed to take photos which is a major bugger! No one really knows how many there are as they are still digging them out of the ground nearly thirty years later. So far they have uncovered around ten thousand f them. Another big wow is that each one is different. None of them are itenticle! After fighting the crowds back to the buses and all the way back home we went across and purchased my plane ticket to Beijing. Yes, in two days I will be in China's capital, Beijing! I never thought I'd ever go to Beijing. But then again I never thought I'd ever be staying with a Chinese family in China. But then again I never thought I'd do any of this! Anyhow, it is time for a huge family feast and then the nightly walk around town before I sit with Ha Ha and play a round of Chess or two. I taught him how to play last night and e picked it up straight away. Unbelievable! He actually remembered the moves each piece can make. Unbelievable! Beers N Cheers toya....shane ______________________________________ The soundtrack to this entry was by the excellent 'First' release in the Café Del Mar series! Cool Tunes Maaaan!
